ANTANINA (GRIGAITIENĖ) LIUBINIENĖ

Antanina Liubinienė (during the war, Grigaitienė) sheltered Berta Reznik, her daughter Hassia, and her mother-in-law Sheina Reznik in the village of Graužiai (Kėdainiai district) towards the end of the German occupation in Lithuania, after they had escaped from the Kaunas ghetto. After the war, all of them emigrated to Israel. Hassia Reznik visited her rescuer Antanina Liubinienė in Lithuania in June 1992.

In 1994, Antanina Liubinienė was awarded the Life Saviour’s Cross.
